Old School Roleplay
General Server Rules
-No Powergaming
-No Metagaming
-No RDM
-Player versus player engagements are only S2RP unless admin+ permission is given.
-During an S2RP event, /pm your /me actions to the event director.
-OOC Disputes about IC actions can be resolved by an agreed upon neutral third party. If one is not found/can't be agreed, -a staff member will resolve the issue.
-Being a mainly S2RP server, don't fret over guns so much.
-Any and all forms of ERP should be brought into private channels like Steam.
-Check to see what needs to be applied for before acquiring things.
-Upon a TK/NLR death, all weapons used in the fight/leading up to the death scenario are dropped on death. Failure to do so can result in full loss of the character.
-Creating a PAC for your character is fine. However, experimenting with obnoxious things in PAC is not. Do that in single player.
-No deliberate trolling staff or players to deliberately, knowledgeably cause a disruption.
-Staff will have final say governing IC actions, complaints post verdict must be taken into a forum complaint.
-Mentioning suggestions in game is fine, but the preferred area is the suggestions board, as more people will know what gets added.
-In order to raid from another player's belongings, the player must be on for their property to be vulnerable.
-No placing down prop guns without good reason, common exceptions include the location being adequately guarded ICly.
-Bandits are placed on a one life policy, S2K exempt.
Faction Rules
-Bases must be constructed with an advanced dupe, be it a home or for multiple people in a group.
-To be eligible for a group page on the forums, you must have 3+ members already recruited ICly, not including yourself.
-Bases belonging to 3+ member factions are raidable with 2+ members of the faction online.
PK/TK Rules
-Staff have pretty much full jurisdiction over this, albeit PKs are a little more specific. If your character dies during an S2RP event, in most cases the death isn't developmental (aka, dying to a random raider) the staff member can choose how strictly to strip you of weapons, etc, and possibly even uniforms. For most players, losing a uniform means you go back to zero armor clothing, like regular settler outfits.
-For a PK, extensive negligence must be shown, little care for your own character's life. Death in an S2K event can lead to this if you get respawned for medical RP and die after.
-For Player on Player cases, PKs are issued if the death is developmental. Think of this: "Could the victim have been anyone else?"
Staff Rules
-If you feel that you need to fuck around to have a little fun, do it somewhere far out of sight and away from the playerbase.
-Event characters are specifically one-life, and exceptions require authorization, and also must be reasonable.
-Do not disrespect or threaten users.
-Do not destroy faction bases with events or event characters.
S2RP Rules
-Do not OOCly kill the other player until they have roleplayed accepting the death of their character. If not, ask for admin assistance.
-Snipers (unless specified otherwise in an S2RP event) must be roleplayed for deploying and firing each individual shot. One /me to mount an deploy the sniper, one to prepare for a shot, and one to fire. After deploying and preparing, one /me per shot is required, and they cannot be replicas of past /mes, so don't use the up arrow for them.
-Moving from the initial deployment spot requires more /mes to deploy again and setup the rifle.
-Cases where S2RP can transition into S2K include ranges beyond /me distance, but is advised against because of the incredible damage values.
