Steam Name:
Veteran Decanus Swordfish.
Steam ID:
STEAM_0:0:147298407
Time spent in the OSRP community:
A little bit over a day.
Brief background and participation in any other RP communities, preferably Fallout based. If so, where?:
Two Clockwork Atomic servers, one being Photonic; the other my memory lacks. On Photonic I lead a small Contubernium as a Prime Decanus; the other I retained a position as a Recruit Legionary. Otherwise, my roleplay knowledge in the serious schematic goes back to the opening of OpenAura Half-Life 2 Roleplay.
Do you understand that progression in the Legion hierarchy is based upon loyalty and combat effectiveness?:
Yes, this is the very foundation of the Legion with their cultural believes. They are bound to serve Caesar to death, and strictly believe and follow the word, strength, and integrity of the God Mars.
Do you understand that fleeing/going rogue from the Legion must be authorized by the faction lead/Lighty and will make you a
KOS enemy to Legion NPCs, unless proper steps are taken to conceal your character's identity?:
Yes, I do. This easily falls under the category of it being serious roleplay.
Provide a 10-line RP example of your Legionary engaged in close range combat with an enemy of your choosing:
For this example I will label my Legionary with red text and my hostile in green.
**Recruit Legionary Valerius would pace his feet to a shoulder length against the approaching trooper.
**Pvt. Taylor Doe matching the Legionary's movements, he would unsheathe his combat knife noting the close range between the two.
**Recruit Legionary Valerius staggering forward, visibly nervous from such an encounter prepares his already un-sheathed machete.
**Pvt. Taylor Doe attempts to lunge forward at the Legionary, forcing him to the ground.
**Recruit Legionary Valerius with his right hand asserts his blade forward at this action, not too much avail with the dull tip, would have the blade pushed back and would be tackled
**Pvt. Taylor Doe raises his combat knife in two hands, ontop of the Legionary to prepare a downward jab into his chest.
**Recruit Legionary Valerius acting on the male's open stomach I would use my freehand to attempt a forceful punch into his lightly armored torso.
**Pvt. Taylor Doe would be easily jabbed by the blow, losing his posture on the Legionary and falling on his back.
**Recruit Legionary Valerius staggers up to his knees, preparing his machete forward; lacking time to stand up fully.
**Pvt. Taylor Doe sends his right knee up in an attempt to kick the Legionary on his back.
**Recruit Legionary Valerius would be kicked back with ease onto his rear, however keeping his machete gripped and raring his knees in defense.
Provide a 10-15-line RP example of your Legionary in passive at the Decanus' encampment:
**Recruit Legionary Valerius would be standing around at his post, wielding his machete at his hip.
**Recruit Legionary Valerius looks upward to the sky for a moment, feeling the torching sun beam down on his leather armor, and exposed skin.
**Veteran Legionary Aetius notices the un-aware recruit and quickly approaches him before releasing a bark of orders.
**Veteran Legionary Aetius "I do not recall it was your duty to sit about whilst the others work to maintain order."
**Recruit Legionary Valerius clearly caught off guard, i'd turn to his direction keeping my eye level shy, returning the words: "Uh- A- Ave Veteran Legionar-"
**Veteran Legionary Aetius "Align yourself with the other recruits in formation, it is around time to begin attrition training."
**Recruit Legionary Valerius "Vale, Veteran Legionary Aetius." he would stutter before mustering himself in formation with his fellow recruits.
**Recruit Legionary Decimus would scoot backwards to allow proper spacing for Valerius to enter their ranks.
**Recruit Legionary Valerius noticing the gesture I would nod politely before appropriating myself.
**Recruit Legionary Decimus leans forward to Valerius, muttering: "Do not worry, amicus, Aetius is hard on us all. It is for our good-will."
**Recruit Legionary Valerius gives a smile under his mask, gracious of the words. "Aye, gratias tibi."
Any questions for me about the Legion? An answer will be provided alongside a verdict post: No.
