Personality
Personality & Traits: Easton seems to be rather balanced, taking on a more neutral approach to those in the surrounding area. Although, he does prefer to be on the side of the NCR. He is appreciative of their efforts and is understanding of the fact that they are busy most of the time. In fact, he doesn't really try to communicate much at all and tends to be rather private about his life. He is a bit odd, but still he tries to fit in for his own personal comfort. On chems, he is a whole new person. He becomes unthoughtful, and steals whatever amount of caps and chems is needed to fulfill his needs. One can't say that the chems didn't change his mind forever, putting him into a private scenario.

Lisa "Grandmother" Suttell
"You were the one who saved me from a lifetime of mistakes, a poor star among the alignment. I was out of place until you came and rescued me, taking me in as one of your own and raising me to be the best I can possibly be. For that, I wish I could thank you a million times. I love you, Grandma, I hope things are treating you well back in New Reno."
"You taught me how to express my emotions in a peaceful way, how to be cautious of the dangers roaming around every corner, and low and behold... How to read and write. I wonder if it was by pure luck that you came into my life, or if it was by coincidence. I was more than happy to call you grandpa, my teacher, the only man in my life to teach me how to be one. I love you and miss you, rest in peace."
Jewell Seyfert
"At first, you were like an angel that reached out to me and rescued me from the state I was in. Then you made me fall in love with you, got me addicted to chems, took me off the path I was on and put me blindly into your own. I followed you all the way up North. Then you broke the news to me. You lead me back toward Shady Sands, where I'd later find you looking for me. I'm not falling back into old habits with you, so I left."
Arabella Aries
"You were one of my best friends growing up and even though it was hard to hang out, seeing that we were from other settlements, we still became close to one another. I'm sorry that one day out of the blue, I disappeared without any trace. Hah, it's kind of funny actually. One day you're close with someone and always talking to them, then the next day you're distant and cannot even physically see the person. I'm just glad that we both happened to have the same idea of going to Greystone. It's almost as if someone wanted this to happened, as if someone out of our realm has placed us both in Greystone so that we can continue where we left off. I'd like to catch up on the years, see how an old friend of mine is doing. But you're always in that damn shop."
---UPDATE: "We talked, reconnected and shared some jet... I can't remember what the others chems were, but we got serene real quick. We had fallen in love all in that one moment, and I understand that you have a boyfriend, but I'd really enjoy if we got to be more than friends."
Background
Easton was born to a prostitute and a chem dealer in New Reno. He was named Easton due to the fact that both of his parents were ironically 'removed' from the East side of New Reno by order of the Wright family, both for chem-related reasons. In fact, his mother became a prostitute in order to help pay for her chem habits and only got with his father because he sold chems. His original last name was Riggs, however when his grandmother stepped in and took him out of his parents care, she gave him his mother's maiden name, Suttell. He was three then and it poses as his earliest childhood memory, mostly memorable due to his mother's frantic screaming and crying and his father's threats to his grandmother. She was accompanied by mercenaries, so the two couldn't react with violence easily. Her reasoning behind the removal was to give her grandchild a better chance, warning them that if they didn't get clean, she'd raise the child herself and they wouldn't be allowed to see it. Of course, his parents tried their hardest to see him without giving up their chem habits, but every time fell unsuccessful. Eventually, the attempts became violent and his grandmother took him out of New Reno when he was five. They found themselves in San Francisco, where they were allowed to stay as long as his grandmother did some work for the Hubologists. When he turned seven, she decided that it was best they leave for she did not want him to believe in the Hubologist ways. They traveled toward Los Angeles Boneyard, where they stayed in Adytum. The travel was long, but well worth it. Seeing as she had a seven year old grandchild with her, the regulators allowed them entrance. His grandmother was tired of traveling the 'Unresting desert,' and so she did everything she could to raise him in Adytum under the strict law of the regulators. This kept young Easton off the streets, away from chems and gang activity. Play time was very much so limited, as he had many chores to keep him busy and lessons to be learned. His grandmother had hired a tutor, who happened to be a good friend from New Reno. He taught Easton when and when not to trust strangers, always to be cautious, and among a variety of other things, self-defense. When Easton turned twelve, play time was over. Like many others who lived in Adytum, he had to work in order to help his grandmother take care of him. The other portion of his time was spent merely on tutoring. In the years to follow, his tutor and his grandmother became romantically inclined. The two were married by his fifteenth birthday, gifting him with the feeling of truly having motherly and fatherly figures. Around the same time, his tutor (now his grandfather) decided that they should return to New Reno. His grandmother hesitated, but eventually agreed and the travel was final. Easton was dragged back to New Reno, where he continued living with his grandparents and had nothing to do with his biological parents. Along the way, his grandfather had caught an infection in his foot. His grandmother did her best to amputate it, while Easton comforted him. Luck was on there side, though. Someone had been nearby a few days later, this person happened to be headed for New Reno. Things were well for a while. Although, one day a prostitute had approached him with tears in her eyes. She told him that he looked like his father. He was confused, but luckily his grandfather was there. He approached, laid a hand on his shoulder and thanked the woman. They quickly turned around and left the woman. That night, he learned the truth about the woman, his mother and his father. His parents had been murdered. Or so he was told. This kicked any questions and doubts in the ass. To him, the woman knew his father and recognized his features. He didn't think about it much longer after that point. When he was eighteen, his grandfather had been murdered during a supply trip. This left his grandmother in a state of devastation, and she eventually told Easton to go to Shady Sands. He waited a few years for her to get back up on her feet, in which she did and returned to the same old woman she was before. When he was twenty-three, he left for Shady Sands. His grandmother gave him notebooks and holotapes to record his journey while he was gone, and made him promise he'd either send them back to her or visit her. On his way there, he fell in love with a traveling woman. This had halted his trip, causing him to join her in her travels in the opposite direction. The two were inseparable. When she killed, he killed. When she was drunk, he was drunk too. When she got high, he got high- putting all of his grandmother's hard efforts to lay in the dirt. (Thankfully, he didn't get addicted.) But all good things must come to an end, right? After months of travel, she told him that she loved him, but that the two should go their separate ways. The two hesitated to leave each other and she lead him back in the direction of Shady Sands. They had an off and on relationship during the trip to Shady Sands and he learned that she still cared about him and claimed that it was so she didn't have to lose anyone she was close with ever again. He was understanding about the situation and the two separated on good terms. It's a good thing he didn't find out about her boyfriend, anyway, he started working in Shady Sands, and put those journals and holotapes to good use during his free time. His mind was still set on the woman and it hurt to think about her, so he tried his best to forget about her. THIS brought on the chem habit. He couldn't bare to be sober without her and when the toughest drugs became weak, he found serenity in sleeping with prostitutes and smoking cigars. About three years go by and the same woman rolls into town. Word around the town was that she wanted to speak with him, but he didn't want to even see her. He fled in the middle of the night with temptations in his heart, hesitating to even leave without saying his goodbyes to the woman. He left behind a single holotape, in which he had recorded when he had been missing her. She got inside his house and found it, but he wouldn't know that. She broke down into tears, realizing time was out.
Easton rolled into Greystone a few weeks later, claiming that he just needed a place to be.
