I suggest we move over to chancer's version of nutscript 1.1, he has given me permission to post this here as he wants more servers to not use a barebones, buggy version of NS. github.com/Chancerawr/respiteIt includes Radio, and radio distortions with distance, /itclose /itfar, /meclose /mefar, /scream (A farther /yell) As well as improved talking and /whisper distances, it might even include stuff like whispering on the radio, and it does for a fact include statted rolling (though if you say yes to this I'd suggest a strict cap on human and ghoul characters stats.) Looking at it more, it even includes weapons. Some modifications will be needed, and alot of the content in it is unique to respite- but all of that extra stuff can just be ignored. Looking at it even more it's got scavengable's as well as a spawn table for the map depending on how many players are online, and ways to scrap said items with another.

See I'm fine with all of the stuff it has regarding the chat distances and radio, and I also think that the scrap weapons would also be good for the server (if that's what you're talking about). BUUUUUUUUUUUUUT The scavenge-ables and spawn table are a no-go. I'm not a fan of any scripts being "mana from heaven" in that they just appear on the ground without any real placement. If a staff member places a script on the ground that's fine by me, so long as they create a scene for it, but otherwise I'm not a big fan of that spawn system. Otherwise yeah it's a good idea because at least we know that the stuff works. Having /itfarfar also lets us run more than one event at once if anybody wants to do that since we no longer have to do /it. Oh and as a side note, I would also stay away from stat rolling, ALTHOUGH perhaps it could be modified to behave like the SPECIAL system. While we wouldn't use it for rolling, it would be a good way to account for players SPECIAL stats and do skill checks like "you need X strength to brute force this" or "roll perception".

It'd be pretty easy to modify the schema to do everything that you said, it's literally a matter of deleting some things.

I'll start testing it out on a local server, see if I can get it how I want.

I am iffy on the stat rolling, it would help prevent people from screaming at each other in pvp's, though sometimes you can get jipped when you maybe shouldn't, or because someone didn't realize how the stat things worked when they started.
Also, I'm not sure, but I thought we were going for a scriptless society.

When I say "How I want it" it'll mostly be in line with everything I've stated before.
