This update will be much larger than the weapons update, trust me.
-- NEW CRAFTING SYSTEM --
Crafting will work as a way to promote wasteland adventure and a way to earn caps. The way it'll work is people will find the items, do a seven word /me of crafting the item, and call an admin over. The player will show the admin the items and the /me, then the admin will give them the desired item. Note this is a work in progress and it may be changed later. A full crafting recipe book will be posted on another thread. Being the size it is, it needs a separate page. Nutscript doesn't have skill based trees (a.k.a Repair, Science, Survival, etc.) There will be different tiers of books, based on low-end (COMMON-ISH), medium-end (UNCOMMON), and high-end (RARE). This will act as skill. There are explosive, science, repair, and survival handbooks. NOTE: You may not share handbooks with other players.
-- FOOD ITEMS --
Food items will provide a very very very small amount of health that might exceed your base health, but the items should be used as passive RP providers, rather than health providers.
-- LEGION FLAG --
Just a small legion loadout flag, in case there are people wanting to play Caesar's Legion.
-- MEDICAL ITEMS (CC Adjust your prices) --
Note that some of these items are not the exact same as the base fallout. Items that I have not added in will be served as IC atm.
Jet(COMMON) - Once used, it'll provide a +5 to any combat roll.
Psycho(UNCOMMON) - Once used, it'll provide a +10 to any combat roll.
Turbo(SUPER RARE) - Once used, it'll provide a +20 to any combat roll.
Healing Powder(COMMON) - Enhances your overall health by 2.
Buffout(COMMON) - Enhances your overall health by 3.
Stimpak(UNCOMMON) - Enhances your overall health by 7.
Auto-inject Stimpak(RARE) - Automatically injects when your vitals are below fifty percent. (This needs to be provided in a /me, but will not affect on actions.Which means you can continue doing whatever you're doing and you don't have to pull out your stimpak and inject it. I.e. ** Bob continues firing his rifle while his auto-inject stimpak injects into his body.)
Super Stimpak (SUPER RARE) - Enhances your overall health by 10.
Doctor's Bag(UNCOMMON) - Partially heals crippled wounds.
Mentats(UNCOMMON) - Acts as a low-end book of your choice for a single craft.
-- STORAGE ITEMS --
With the amount of crafting items, you will need a lot of storage. You can craft the storage containers. There are ways to lock the containers. There is a lockpad which is pretty cheap and lock-pickable, and a digital pad that is harder to make. You can buy lockpick kits from the Crimson Caravan (make sure to write down the person who bought the item, and the exact item.) Before lockpicking containers, call an admin over to observe the action. Rolling above 70 will open it, below will break the lockpick.
-- SPECIALTY ITEMS --
There will be a few rare loot finds that can be sold for caps. Keep on the look out for those.
-- POISONS --
There is only one poison so far. However, you may apply it to certain melee items. If you stab the enemy and they haven't died, you have two more turns until the poison fully ends their life.
